An Evangelist is a person who proclaims the gospel to those who have not heard or received it, to all nations (Matthews 28:19, 20; Mark 16:15); from house to house (Acts 5:42); Always (1Peter 3:15); As Ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:18-20) and the source of this evangelistic work is Jesus Christ (Galatians 1:6-12); God The Father (John 6:44, 65); The Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
Greetings to everyone in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Today, I greet you and pray that we all are holding fast to our faith and following the Directives of our Heavenly Father.
We say that we belong to God, how are we reflecting His Will, Grace, Mercy and Love?If someone where to encounter you away from church, would they know that you were a Christian by your actions, speech or attire?
What is it about you that say, I belong to the God of creation, salvation and forgiveness? Do you have to wear a sign saying I am a Christian? On the other hand, do you have to scream it from a rooftop, only to hear the passer bys laugh and say, hypocrite, liar. I saw that person the other day doing things that I would not dare to do and I am not a Christian! What a joke!
Now I ask as your leading Evangelist, are we truly living the life that Christ has set forth to bring forth fruit for God’s kingdom. Examine yourself to determine if we are spreading ‘the good news of the gospel’ or ‘news of the gossip’.
Our prayer is that the grace of God and the peace of the Holy Spirit abide with and in us as we continue to work for the salvation of all.
